Nikki Sedaghat
Founder & Clinical Director

I founded Sedâ with a deep belief in the transformative power of authentic connections that make room for the fullness of who we are.

In nearly a decade of practicing psychotherapy and being a client in therapy myself, I've learned that healing feels most possible when our lived experiences and identities aren’t flattened or reduced to obstacles or symptoms, when our contexts and histories are recognized as sources of wisdom, and when our voice holds power in shaping the direction of our life and therapy.

Services

Services

Virtual therapy and counselling services, supporting youth, adults, couples, and families in communities across Ontario.

Whether you're in Mississauga, Ottawa, Durham or Halton regions, our therapists will connect with you wherever you are, through secure and convenient virtual sessions.

People seek individual therapy for many different reasons. Some clients come to therapy during times of change or challenge, like starting or ending relationships, becoming a parent, or moving through other life transitions. Some notice patterns that they want to shift, while others are navigating emotions and thoughts that feel too big to carry alone.

Whether you’re navigating specific challenges with your mental, emotional, or relational health or you want to deepen your self-understanding and connection to yourself, you and your therapist will work towards the goals that feel most relevant to you.

Relationships can take many forms and each one carries its own stories, rhythm, values, and ways of being. Sometimes partners or loved ones notice shifts in closeness, communication, or mutual understanding and want to explore these changes together. Other times, relationships come to therapy to connect more intentionally, navigate differences more effectively, and challenge recurring patterns.

Couple and family therapy offers a supportive and productive space to explore your relationship dynamics and develop new pathways for connection.
