Hi! I'm Ethan.
At the heart of my practice is compassion. The world can feel complicated and heavy at times, and I believe in meeting those experiences with warmth, care, and genuine human connection.
I bring humour, authenticity, and gentle honesty into my work, believing that healing can hold both lightness and depth.
I'm a therapist who places a key focus on forming a safe, inclusive space where your experiences are honoured and your voice is central. I tailor sessions to your needs and ways of experiencing the world, at your own pace. My approach is collaborative and guided by respect for your story. I celebrate diversity in all its forms and aim to nurture resilience and empowerment.
Above all, my hope is to help you reconnect with your strengths, find meaning in your experiences, and move toward greater balance.

My Approach to Therapy
I believe the journey of healing includes acknowledging all of who you are—not just the parts that are visible, but also the parts that have been hidden, suppressed, or silenced.
Every part of you, even the difficult or painful parts, holds valuable insights into who you are and how you choose to move forward.
I approach therapy with deep curiosity and compassion, not with the intent to “fix” you, but to listen to your whole story, including the parts of you that may have been shaped by societal pressures or stifled by dominant norms.
I approach sessions with the belief that your struggles are not simply individual problems to solve, but reflections of the complex, multifaceted experiences you have faced. Therapy isn’t only about addressing internal conflicts; it’s also about acknowledging the larger, systemic forces that shape your world.
Intersecting challenges of discrimination, prejudice, and internalized stigma deeply impact mental health, and I work alongside my clients to explore these issues in a supportive and nonjudgmental space. My goal in our sessions together is to foster a relationship of safety and trust, without shying away from difficult conversations.
For folx from marginalized communities, I recognize that many therapeutic models were built for the dominant culture and may not always reflect your lived experiences. I strive to work through an anti-oppressive, culturally sensitive and trauma-informed lens, adapting and modifying techniques as needed to ensure our work feels safe, relevant, and empowering.

Feel More at Home in Yourself and Your Relationships
Compassionate and Identity-Affirming Online Counselling Therapy
If you’re seeking a therapist who is attuned to the many layers of identity and lived experience, I am currently accepting new clients and offer a free 15-minute consultation as an opportunity for us to connect, ask questions, and see if working together feels right for you.

You Might Be in the Right Place with Me if…
You’re feeling stuck in old patterns (relationships, thoughts, or behaviours) and want to make a meaningful change.
You’re trying to manage stress or regulate your emotions more effectively, but it feels like an uphill climb.
You’re looking for a space that celebrates differences in our ways of experiencing the world, without framing your identities or traits as problems to be fixed.
You’re exploring your identity and want an affirming space to understand yourself more fully.
You’ve been feeling depressed, anxious, overwhelmed, or burnt out and are ready to find some grounding and clarity.
You’re looking for a therapist with an empathetic lens and a mutual understanding of gender, sexuality, and neurodivergence.
