I believe the journey of healing includes acknowledging all of who you are—not just the parts that are visible, but also the parts that have been hidden, suppressed, or silenced. I approach sessions with deep curiosity and compassion, not with the intent to “fix” you, but to listen to your whole story, including the parts of you that may have been shaped by societal pressures or stifled by dominant norms. Every part of you, even the difficult or painful parts, holds valuable insights into who you are and how you choose to move forward.

Intersecting challenges of discrimination, prejudice, and internalized stigma deeply impact mental health, and I work alongside my clients to explore these issues in a supportive and nonjudgmental space. My goal in our sessions together is to foster a relationship of safety and trust, without shying away from difficult conversations.

For folx from marginalized communities, I recognize that many therapeutic models were built for the dominant culture and may not always reflect your lived experiences. I strive to work through an anti-oppressive, culturally sensitive and trauma-informed lens, adapting and modifying techniques as needed to ensure our work feels safe, relevant, and empowering.

I understand the unique challenges that come with navigating identity and relationship to self. I offer therapy grounded in a deep respect for who you are and your lived experiences. I recognize that life is complex and full of moving parts. My role is to walk alongside you as we make sense of those pieces and help you move toward greater clarity, connection, and self-understanding.

About Me

At the heart of my practice is compassion. The world can feel complicated and heavy at times, and I believe in meeting those experiences with warmth, care, and genuine human connection. I bring humour, authenticity, and gentle honesty into my work, believing that healing can hold both lightness and depth. I am a therapist who places a key focus on forming a safe, inclusive space where your experiences are honoured, and your voice is central.

Professional Background & Credentials

I am a registered member in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (#17870) and the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association.

I hold an MA in Counselling Psychology and a BA in Criminal Justice.

On a Personal Note

I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, playing video games, reading, exploring nature or visiting the dog park. But my favourite thing is to be cozy at home with my partner and our dog, watching reality TV with a nice, hot cup of tea.
