Nikki is not currently accepting new clients.

I thrive when I'm making meaningful connections with others, which is what draws me to therapy work. I strive to develop a therapeutic relationship with clients that involves collaboration, curiosity, compassion, vulnerability, and humour. As an individual and relational psychotherapist, my work involves supporting clients to cultivate deeper awareness, meaning, connection, and fulfillment in their lives and relationships through exploration and understanding of the self.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. I hold a Masters of Science in Couple & Family Therapy from the University of Guelph and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology & Biology from the University of Toronto.

I value being a therapist who shows up with transparency and authenticity about the identities that I hold. I'm a neurodivergent, Iranian, queer, cisgender woman, and a settler.

I bring in a non-judgmental, anti-oppressive, and compassionate stance to therapy, to build a therapeutic relationship with you where you feel safe, connected, and supported in your journey towards change.

I work with adults (17+) and my areas of expertise include:

  • ADHD

  • Anxiety

  • Boundary Issues

  • Communication Issues

  • Depression

  • Emotional regulation

  • Ethical non-monogamy & polyamory

  • Identity (including sexuality, gender, race, changes in faith,

       ability, neurodivergence)

  • Parenting

  • Perfectionism & Self-Criticism

  • Relationship Concerns & Family Dynamics

  • Self-Esteem & Perfectionism

  • Sex and Sexuality

I use an integrative approach and draw from the following therapy models:

  • Emotion-Focused Therapy

  • Solutions-Focused Therapy

  • Compassion and Mindfulness-Based Therapies

I conduct sessions in English, but am able to work with Persian-speaking clients.
